Pomeranian Regional Representation

The Pomerania Regional Representation is the largest Regional Representation of the Forum of Young Diplomats in terms of operational area, covering the region stretching from Szczecin to the Tricity. It focuses on the Forum's activities in Pomerania, with a particular emphasis on renewable energy, the maritime economy, and cooperation with Northern Europe, including the broadly defined Scandinavian region. Members of the Regional Representation actively participate in academic events and student research group initiatives, notably at the faculties of law at the universities in Gdańsk and Szczecin.

Our initatives

Collaboration with the Regional Center for International Debate (RODM)

Co-organizing and co-hosting a series of meetings with ambassadors, diplomats, and professors specializing in international relations.

Active participation in Forum's events

The Regional Representation actively engages in organizing events within the framework of National Diplomacy Week, strengthening the Forum's presence in Pomerania. A noteworthy event was a thematic meeting titled "From the Plague Town to European Diplomacy" featuring Ambassador Jerzy Drożdż, which focused on the origins and foundations of modern diplomacy. Members of the Pomerania Regional Representation represented the Forum of Young Diplomats at the World Youth Forum 2026.
