Toruń Regional Representation

The Toruń Regional Representation brings together ambitious young individuals not only from Toruń itself, but also from across the entire Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. Our members actively participate in prestigious events, such as the International Asian Congress and the International Congress of African Studies, which are the largest conferences on these subjects in Eastern Europe. Thanks to an intimate atmosphere, numerous integration meetings, and participation in various academic events, we build a cohesive community where everyone can develop their ideas and interests and engage actively.

Initatives

International Asian Congress

This is the largest event hosted within our Regional Representation, taking place every year at the end of May. We participate as speakers by organizing our own panel, as well as volunteers assisting with registration, panel moderation, and liaison for foreign diplomats.

International Congress of African Studies

This is a relatively new event in which our members have been involved since its inception. Similar to the International Asian Congress, we are responsible for organizing an academic panel as well as managing volunteer operations. The congress takes place annually in February

Student and Doctoral Academic Conference "Social Consequences of Modern Technologies

This is our original initiative, organized in collaboration with our trusted partners. The conference aims to examine technological advancement through the lens of the social sciences. The event takes place in November.
